Printer Error - Fuser

There is a problem with the fuser.

  1. On the front panel, press the i button to view information about the error.

  2. Record the error code number.

  3. Turn off the printer.

  4. Press the latch on the right side of the printer to open Front Door B.

  5. Press back the latch at the left of Top Door C to open it.

  6. Verify that the fuser is a genuine Xerox part and that the correct fuser is installed:

  1. Reseat or install the correct fuser. Confirm that the slide switches at both ends of the fuser are pushed all the way to the back (locked) position.

  2. Close and latch Top Door C.

  3. Close Front Door B.

  4. Turn on the printer.

  5. If the problem persists, replace the fuser. See the installation instructions shipped with the new fuser.
