- Before printing an envelope from the Multi-Purpose tray, tuck the glue flap inside the envelope.
 
- Set the Media Thickness switch to the Thick position.
 
- Place the envelope in the tray with the printing side face up.  The edge where you place a stamp should enter the printer first.
 
- Adjust the Multi-Purpose tray guides.
 
- The printer waits for you to select the media type from the front panel.
 
- At your computer, select Multi-Purpose as the paper source and Envelope as the media size.  Send the print job.
  
HINTS
- Use the Multi-Purpose Tray for printing all specialty media, including envelopes and Xerox Fabric Transfer media.
 
- Never print an envelope with a window or metal clasp; they will damage the printer.
 
- Use envelopes that are at least #10 size.
 
- Do not load more than 10 to 15 envelopes at a time.
