The Configure Network dialog box
This dialog box is the starting place for managing queues, notify lists, and file servers. You can also use the Set Config File button in this dialog box to set a file server as the configuration file server for the selected printer.
The Attached File Servers/Status list shows all attached file servers. To select a file server, click the server's name in the list. Once you have selected a server, you can work with the selected server in the following ways:
You can also perform the following operations from the Configure Networks dialog box:
Attaching file servers
Attaching to a file server makes any print queues defined on that server available.
- Display the Configure Network dialog box by clicking the Configure Network button in the Main window.
- In the Configure Network dialog box, click the File Servers button; this displays the File Servers [Attach/Detach] dialog box.
- In the list of file servers, click on the name of a detached server (the Status area for detached servers is blank).

to return to the File Servers [Attach/Detach] dialog box. Quit the Administrator, change
the default server, and re-run the Administrator before attempting to detach again.
Managing queues: the Configure Queue(s) dialog box
This dialog box allows you to set up queues for the selected printer on the selected file server.
The File Server field displays the file server selected in the Configure Network dialog box. The Available Queues field lists the queues on that file server. The Serviced Queues field lists queues designated for the selected print server (the print server named in the title bar). A green dot is placed to the left of each queue that is currently being serviced by the selected print server. A yellow dot indicates that the queue is ready to be serviced by the selected print server. (Servicing begins when the print server is reset.)
When the Banner Page check box is checked, banner pages are enabled on the selected file server and queue. When this box is not checked, banner pages are disabled. When no queues are selected in the Serviced Queues list, the Banner Page check box is grayed-out (not available).
