The
printer can detect low supplies and provides
an easy mechanism to order replacement supplies.
Ordering
Permissions
Permit
on-line ordering of printer supplies:
- Yes - Printer supplies can
be ordered online from Xerox.
- No - On-line ordering of supplies
is not permitted.
Permit
users to order from their desktops:
- Yes - Users are allowed to
order printer supplies directly from
their desktop.
- No - Users cannot order supplies
from their desktop.
Reminder
Settings
Send
Order Reminders - The printer sends
email to the address specified in the Email
address of Supplies Clerk field whenever
printer supplies (such as ink) are low.
When this feature is enabled,
the printer will send order reminders to
the supply clerk (or other person specified
in the email address field below) at regular
intervals.
Email
Address of Supplies Clerk - Enter the
email address of the Supply Clerk or other
person to be notified when printer supplies
are low.
SMTP
Server Address - Enter the SMTP Server
address for the email address entered above.
Note:
Changing the SMTP Server address here overrides
SMTP Server settings determined by DNS.
Send
reminder every x hours / Send reminder every
x pages - Enter a value to specify how
frequently the printer sends order reminders
to to the Supply Clerk. Reminders can be
sent after x number of pages and/or every
x hours.
Note: Enter 0
to disable regular interval reminders.
