The Home page displays information
about printer features, options and important
printer conditions. Optional features that
are installed in the printer are indicated
by a checkmark next to the feature name.
The Home page also offers useful links to
CentreWare features and function settings.
Status
Message (left side
of page)
The status message box appears
on the left of the page, below the image
of your Xerox printer, and gives a quick
indication of the printer's status.
Printer status messages are
updated according to the value specified
in the Refresh
Behavior field on the Status
page. Click the Refresh Status button
on the left side of the page to refresh
the printer status immediately.
Status Conditions:
- During normal operation, the status
box is green.
- When a warning condition occurs, the
warning message is displayed against
a yellow background. Click on the warning
message to obtain more information about
the warning condition.
- When an error condition occurs, the
error message is displayed against a
red background. Click on the error message
to obtain more information about the
error condition.

Name - Displays the
Printer Name on the SNMP
page.
DNS - Displays the assigned
DNS name on the TCP/IP
Settings page.
IP - Displays the assigned
IP address on the TCP/IP
Settings page.
Contact - Displays the
Printer Contact on the SNMP
page.
Location - Displays the
Printer Location on the SNMP
page.
Status - Displays the
current printer status message, updated
at regular intervals.
Refresh Status - Clicking
the Refresh Status button refreshes
the printer status immediately.
Navigating
through CentreWare IS
The Home Page displays buttons
for each category that can be accessed.
Click the button next to a category to go
to that tab in CentreWare IS.
Status -The Status
tab displays information about your printer's
general status, such as paper tray capacity
and page count. You can also view the status
of your printer's consumables by clicking
on the Consumables
link.
Jobs - The Jobs
tab contains links on how to Cancel Jobs,
Display Job Accounting Records, Usage profiles,
etc.
Print - The Print
tab contains links to pages in CentreWare
IS that pertain to printing help pages,
printing files stored on the hard drive
of the printer, printing color and font
samplers, and demonstration pages. You can
also use this tab to send print-ready files
to the printer using your browser. See File

functionality.
Properties - The Properties
tab offers links to pages that describe
properties about your printer, Protocols
used by your printer, Security Settings,
etc.
Troubleshoot - The Troubleshoot
tab offers links to access various logs
that store process-related information about
your printer. You can view Print Diagnostics
pages, Print Help Pages, and view the Print
Configuration Page from this tab.
Support - The Support
tab offers links to download printer drivers
and other printer software, links to access
documentation and help aids for your printer,
as well as links to order supplies and access
Technical Support.
