File Download - Print Immediately

This function is available on all models of the printer; however, the advanced model gives you the option of clicking a radio button to save print-ready files to the printer hard drive or to print them immediately. The base model only allows you to download print-ready documents into the printer RAM for immediate printing. File download supports the following file types:

  • PDF
  • PCL
  • PostScript
  • Text

After you identify the destination printer for your document, launch CentreWare IS through your browser by entering the IP address or DNS name of that printer. From the view tree, select the File Download Page under the Print tab. Select the file either by typing in the path for the location of the appropriate file or click Browse to search the local network or hard drive for the file. When you have located your file, click the green button to print.

File Download - Saved Print

This function is available only on the advanced model containing a hard drive. This function allows you to save print-ready documents on the printer hard drive for later retrieval and printing.

Select a print-ready file by entering the path and file name into the text box. Enter a name for your print job in the Job Name field and click the radio button for Saved Print. You may then access your job for printing by clicking Print Jobs > Saved Jobs. When you have located the file you wish to print or to save, click the green button to confirm the action.
