LPR
- This setting turns the protocol on
or off.
Host
Access List - This
field allows you to give access to the printer
only to certain hosts. No entry indicates
that all hosts have access to the printer.
To give one or more hosts exclusive access
to the printer, enter IP host names or IP
addresses, up to a maximum of 255 characters.
Separate multiple entries with space characters.
Filtering
- This field allows you to choose if
the printer strips out control characters.
In most cases, Filtering should be set to
None.
Banners
- On - Banner pages may be printed
with each job.
- Off - Banner pages do not print.
Banner pages print if banners
are set to ON at the file server,
even if banners are set to OFF in
the printer.
Job
Pipelining
- On - The printer can begin
processing a new job on this port while
it is still printing a previous job.
- Off - The printer does not
begin a new job on this port until the
current job is completed.
