Occasional Cleaning

If your printer experiences frequent media jams, clean the rollers. Instructions are included in these locations:
Print the cleaning instructions

On the printer's front panel, press
Menu.

Press the arrow buttons; scroll to
Cleaning. Press
Menu; this message displays:

Follow the instructions on the cleaning page.
Replacement cleaning kit 016-1710-00
Use isopropyl alcohol (at least 90% pure) with a lint-free cloth.
Do not use alcohol that has any additives; it can damage the printer.
