Create Printer Group Help
You can create custom
Printer Groups to organize the displayed printers on any tab except the
Preferences tab. For example, you might want to sort printers by
Location,
Model, or even
Contact.
Click the
Create Printer Group link on the navigation tree to open the
Create Printer Group dialog. Enter a printer
Group Name less than
64 characters in length. Click
Next to continue to the
Populate Printer Group Page to select printers from other printer groups to add to your new printer group. For more information on adding printers to custom printer groups, see the

Changing a Custom Printer Group Name
To change a custom printer
Group Name, select the printer group from the navigation bar under
Custom Groups. Selecting the printer group activates the
Modify Group button. Click the
Modify Group button to display the
Modify Printer Group page. The printer group you selected displays on the right side of the page. The title of the printer group displays in a text box above the printer group. To modify the printer
Group Name, edit the name in the text box. When you are satisfied with the printer
Group Name, click
Done to return to the previous view. The new printer
Group Name displays in the navigation tree.
