Populate Job Group Help
When you click
Next after creating a new group, the
Populate Job Group page displays. The new
Group Name displays on the right side of the page. There are no jobs in it. Select the source group from the drop-down list on the left.
To copy jobs, select them and click the
Copy button to add them to your new group. If you want to move jobs, select the jobs and click
Move. You can only copy jobs from the
Manage Protected Jobs > All group.
Note: When you copy a protected job from the
Manage Protected Jobs > All group, you actually only copy a reference to that job into the custom group. When you
copy or move a job between custom groups, or you delete a job from a custom group, you are only copying, moving, or deleting a reference to that job from the group. The job actually resides in the
Manage Protected Jobs > All group. If you want to
delete a job from all groups, you must delete it from the
Manage Protected Jobs > All folder.
Note: The
Manage Saved Jobs functions are not available in printer configurations without hard drives. Access to the
Manage Saved Jobs functions is controlled by the Administrator. You may require a user name and password to access this page. Refer to the
Administrator Security Settings
page in
CentreWare IS.
